Dynamic AMR Routing in an Automotive parts Manufacturing unit

Introduction

An automotive parts manufacturing facility required efficient internal logistics for transferring components across multiple production stages with complex routing requirements.Due to multiple pickup and drop-off points, varying priorities, and dynamic shop-floor conditions, the facility needed an intelligent AMR-based system capable of handling multi-route decision-making in real time.We implemented a software-driven AMR automation solution, in collaboration with OEM partners, focused on dynamic routing, traffic optimization, and workflow synchronization.

Problem Statement:

Multiple production stations with interdependent flows. Fixed or operator-decided routing.

Key Issues:

  • Complex Routing Requirements
  • Traffic Congestion & Delays
  • Lack of Routing Intelligence
  • Inconsistent Material Flow

"From fixed paths to intelligent navigation—we enhanced every movement with real-time decision-making, eliminating delays and enabling adaptive routing to keep production flowing continuously."
